I'm Ryan Buckley — a Nashville-based engineering leader who never stopped building. I lead a product team at SparkPlug while staying deep in the codebase, and lately I've been pushing hard on AI-native engineering: agentic workflows that lift a whole team's throughput, plus the judgment to see where the bottleneck moves next. On my own time I design and ship products end to end — a live iOS app and a couple of web apps — because keeping my hands in the work is how I keep the taste sharp.
